CAMPGROUND GUIDELINES

General Guidelines

Peak season runs from Memorial Day Weekend – Labor Day Weekend.

Camping is an outdoor experience, therefore we do not give refunds due to whims of Mother Nature.

The management reserves the right to refuse service, limit length of stay, and the number person/vehicle per site and/or evict any person or party without refund. Park staff are not allowed to work on guests’ RVs or other personal equipment.

The following is prohibited on park property: fireworks, firearms, BB guns, Airsoft, pellet guns, drones, and metal detectors. Personal golf carts are not allowed, except as noted in the Lot Owners contract. No battery operated vehicles, motor driven cycles, bikes, or scooters allowed.

Speed Limit is 5 MPH. Please observe our speed limit to ensure the safety of all our guests. Remember..Children are playing!Quiet Time is 10:30 p.m. to 8 a.m.

Photos/Videos: Entrance to Jellystone Park™ constitutes permission for the management of Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park™ Camp-Resorts to photograph and/or video-graph the visitor and all his/her guests while on the premises and to use pictures/videos for lawful purposes without credit or acknowledgment to the visitor.

Site Occupancy: Only ONE (1) RV or Tent is allowed per campsite. Campsites (RV and Tent) allow for a maximum of SIX (6) persons per site. Maximum occupancy for cabins in the maximum persons they are rated to sleep.

Safety, after dark: In order to ensure all our guests’ safety after dark, please carry a flashlight with you. No bike or scooter riding after dark.

Smoking is not allowed in any buildings at Yogi in the Smokies, including cabins. If you are found to have been smoking inside one of our lodging units, cabins or rentals you will be assessed a one-time cleaning fee of $250.

Pet-Friendly Policy: Cabins or Lodges
We welcome your pet to our campground. All that you need to do is let us know that you are bringing a pet and we will book you into a pet friendly cabin or lodge subject to availability. We charge a $25.00 non-refundable cleaning deposit per pet per stay (2 Pet Limit). We expect that you will take good care of your pet which includes not leaving your pet unattended in your cabin or lodge and that your pet will take care of you – making sure that you clean up after him or her. We have cabins and lodges set aside for pets and their owners since some of our other guests are allergic to pets. Unfortunately, if your pet persuades you to sneak him or her into a non-pet cabin or lodge, you will be liable for $300 in cleaning charges.

Pet-Friendly Policy: RV Sites
We welcome your pet to our campground. All that you need to do is let us know that you are bringing a pet (2 Pet Limit). There will be no charge for bringing your pet with your RV. We expect that you will take good care of your pet which includes not leaving your pet unattended outside or erecting any type of fence or pen around your site. When your pet is taking you for a walk, it must be on a leash – making sure that you clean up after him or her.

Pet Policy: Tent Camping
We do not allow any pets at all in tents. If your pet persuades you to sneak him or her into a tent. You will be asked to leave without any refund.

Aggressive Pets:
Aggressive dogs of any breed are not welcome at any Legacy RV Resort. If your dog shows behavior that is protective and unfriendly to strangers, please leave it home. If you decide to bring your dog and it exhibits this type of behavior the owner or management of the park will ask you to please find other camping accommodations.

Trash and Garbage: Please place all garbage in designated dumpsters. Charcoal is to be dumped in the fire ring at your site or cabin.

Clotheslines are not permitted.

Fireworks and Firearms are prohibited on park property. Includes BB, Airsoft and pellet guns.

Swimming Pool: No Lifeguard is on Duty. Children under 14 must be supervised by an adult (18 years or older). Anyone behaving in an unsafe or destructive manner will be removed from the pool area. Only bathing suits permitted in pool, no cotton material permitted (ie. cut-offs, t-shirts, etc).

Refunds: We do not give refunds for early departures. At check-in, we honored the period of time you requested for your campsite or lodging unit. If your refund request is due to weather issues we apologize, however, we have no more control over the weather than you do.

Visitors: Your visitors are always welcome at Yogi in the Smokies, as long as they register at the Ranger Station. Registered guests and their visitors are expected to read and adhere to all campground guidelines. Guidelines are presented at time of Check-In. All your visitors must register, pay Day-Use Fees, if applicable, and leave the campground by 10 p.m.

Golf Cart Usage: Due to insurance restrictions, personal Golf Carts are not allowed on Yogi in the Smokies property.

Recreational Vehicles: No battery operated vehicles nor motor-driven cycles, bikes or scooters are to be driven in the park.

Vehicle Repairs (including oil change, etc.) of vehicles and RV’s are not permitted in the park. You may check the local listings for businesses that provide these services.

RV Dump Station is available to dump your gray and black tanks on your RVs.

Violation of these Guidelines is grounds for ejection from the park WITHOUT refund.

Forms of Payments: We accept Visa, Master Card, cash or money orders. Sorry, no checks.

Metal Detectors: These are not permitted to be used in the park.

Lodging Guidelines

Check-In / Check-Out: Check-In time is 3 p.m. (EST) and Check-Out time is 11 a.m. (EST)

Deposit: One night’s rate will be taken (as a deposit) at the time a reservation is booked.

Deposit-Holidays: The total amount due, for your holiday reservation, will be taken (as a deposit) at the time a reservation is booked.

Minimum Reservation: There is a ONE (1) night minimum on weekdays (Mon-Thu) and TWO (2) night minimum on weekends (Fri-Sun) reservation for all lodging units. Holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day and Labor day)require a THREE (3) night minimum reservation.

Cancellations – Lodging: We will return your deposit minus a $20 service charge if you cancel FIFTEEN (15) or more days prior to your arrival date. If you cancel FOURTEEN(14) days or less of your arrival date your full deposit is forfeited.

Cancellations – Holidays: We will return your deposit minus a $20 service charge if you cancel THIRTY (30) or more days before your arrival date. We do not refund holiday deposits on cancellations made TWENTY-NINE (29) days or less of your arrival date.
Please make sure you schedule your holiday reservations carefully.

Cancellations – NO SHOWS: Guests failing to contact us to cancel their reservation (with the required time, listed above) will be considered a ‘NO SHOW’. ‘NO SHOWS’ are subject to the same cancellation policies.

Reservation Changes: We’ll be happy to change the dates on your reservation (one time) if notified FOURTEEN (14) days prior to your reserved date. Holiday reservations require THIRTY-ONE (31) days prior notice. Based on availability. There is a $20 change fee for all changes.

Pet Cleaning Fee: A $25 per pet, Non-Refundable, pet cleaning fee is charged to all reservations. Not all cabins are ‘Pet-Friendly’ cabins, please make sure you book a Pet-Friendly cabin if you require one. There is a maximum of TWO (2) pets per Pet-Friendly cabin.

Deposit-Holidays: The total amount due, for your holiday reservation, will be taken (as a deposit) at the time a reservation is booked.

Minimum Reservation: There is a ONE (1) night minimum reservation for all campsites. Holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day and Labor day) require a THREE (3) night minimum reservation.

Cancellations – Campsites: We will return your deposit minus a $20 service charge if you cancel EIGHT (8) or more days prior to your arrival date. If you cancel SEVEN (7) days or less of your arrival date your full deposit is forfeited.

Cancellations – Holidays: We will return your deposit minus a $20 service charge if you cancel THIRTY (30) or more days before your arrival date. We do not refund holiday deposits on cancellations made TWENTY-NINE (29) days or less of your arrival date.
Please make sure you schedule your holiday reservations carefully.

If you have Covid symptoms, have tested positive, or if you are under quarantine please contact the reservation desk and they will be glad to move your reservation to a later date. No cancellations or refunds.

Ground Disposal of any drain water (gray or black) is prohibited by State Law. Wastewater from RVs (including sink water) must be disposed of into sewer drains. Do not put grease down the sewer.

Sewer Connections are required by State Law and must have a tight seal by a Sewer Donut (or Sewer Ring) or a screw-type connector.
